The Core Rule: Care and recovery benefits apply to anyone injured in a motor vehicle crash, regardless of who was at fault.
Right to Sue: The ability to sue for pain, suffering, or general damages was eliminated for crashes occurring on or after May 1, 2021 (with rare exceptions, such as criminal charges like impaired driving).
