このコンテンツについて
Marine Corps Veteran Richard Cobb tells the story of what he witnessed on the first day at the Battle at Hue City. Mr. Cobb fought with the Golf 2/5 Marines and was there every day of the battle. He made it the full 32 days at Hue with suffering any major injuries. This battle is remembered as one of the bloodiest and arguably the pivotal fight of the 10 year war in Vietnam. The U.S. Forces in Hue are clearly out numbered, they haven't been trained for urban environments, the rules of engagement in the battle are different than anything they've seen before, they continue being sent out on missions that are deadly and appear to be impossible, and the officers know that their command does not understand the situation on the ground in Hue. Listen to Richard Cobb's firsthand account being pushed to the limit in brutal urban combat.
Tomorrow Town, Tennessee is a production of NewsChannel 9, Fox Chattanooga and Sinclair Broadcast Group Chattanooga.
