Facing a tropical weather threat can be very frightening. It can also be expensive. I have gone through a hurricane and had the power go out… and have felt the pain of losing all the food in the fridge / freezer.

Honestly, some people under-prepare because they think it is just too expensive to try to be ready for a tropical storm or hurricane. Things are spinning in the Atlantic basin, with a Tropical Depression 2 in the gulf.

In this episode we take a look at the National Hurricane Center's projected path. It is less than 39 MPH sustained winds, so it is not yet a tropical storm.
