このコンテンツについて
In our society we see passivity as laziness but they are in fact very different. Wu Wei is a concept within Taoism that means: "effective action through non-action" (effortless action or non-doing). Instead of forcing yourself to do things, or trying to be something that goes against your inner nature, you can allow the natural course of the universe to unfold and live in harmony. We get so caught up in trying to be the right way and do what were supposed to do yet, we still end up anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, and unhappy. In this episode, I do a quick discussion on the simple and beautiful teachings of Taoism and how they can help us feel at peace.
P'u
This concept is represented as the “Uncarved Block” and is a significant principle of Taoism. Winnie the Pooh is the epitome of P'u because his simple-minded nature allows him to move through life and accomplish things without trying.
The book that helped me understand Taoism the best was The Tao of Pooh.
