概要
Canada isn't a super power country but like many other countries around the world, Prime Minister Mark Carney argues our role as the middle power should be taken seriously. In a recent speech at the World Economic Forum, Carney urged middle power countries to come together, build coalitions that can counteract the great power strategy of the day: coercion. How? By flexing 'soft power' — assets a country has that are attractive to other countries on the international stage. Turns out, middle power countries have a significant role to play on the international stage, if they choose to take it.
