I'm a health coach, and I haven't trained consistently in ten months. Here's exactly how that happened - a hundred kilometre ultra through the Snowy Mountains, a push for the podium the following year, and a burnout that ended with me stopping at 44km, not injured, just done. The rest that followed became a habit. Ten months of it.
But this video isn't about the burnout. It's about what I'm actually doing to get back - one habit, picked because I'd still do it on my worst day, stacked on top of the last one only once it's fully automatic. No comeback plan, no finish line, no six-week challenge. Just breakfast, then an hour of movement a day, then whatever's next once those stop needing willpower.
This is the last video in a four-part series. If you haven't seen the others yet, go back and watch those first.
If this helped, a like and a subscribe genuinely helps a small creator like me keep going, and if you know someone sitting in their own version of this gap, send this their way.
