If someone you love is a veteran or in any way embodies the ‘warrior archetype’, this episode is not to be missed. Dr. Edward Tick has been working with veterans for several decades, and has developed some of the most transformational recovery programs out there … but this conversation (and his incredible work) is not just about healing the wound of war. Fundamentally, it’s about healing the wound of suffering, and what it really takes to accept, integrate, and rebuild the self after trauma.Join me for a profound conversation with pioneering therapist Dr. Edward Tick as we explore how true trauma recovery transcends standard talk therapy to heal the “soul wounds” of war and violence. Drawing from ancient Greek and Native American traditions, we delve into archetypal psychology, the rebalancing of the warrior identity, and the restorative power of ritual, community, and myth. From pilgrimage and dream incubation to collective resilience, this episode offers a holistic, deeply spiritual blueprint for transforming individual and societal trauma.JOIN THE STILLPOINT COMMUNITY WITH MICHELLEThis space is a bridge between the unseen and the grounded, the metaphysical and the embodied.
