    Christians belong to God the Father. He did a miraculous work through His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, when He died for the sins of the world. As believers in and followers of Christ, we are no longer of this world. In it, yes, but not of it. We are being sanctified, or some would say, set apart to glorify God and to do His good work.

    Our lives are dedicated to and consecrated for God's purpose. He knows exactly what He wants to accomplish through us. Let us aim to please and glorify Him.

    Facing Life's Giants

    Everyday life presents new challenges. What should we do and where should we go when life presents hurt, despair, and disappointment that causes us to feel tired, hopeless, angry, anxious, fearful, and without peace? Run to God and He will help us face those giants.

    Arise and give thanks to God for blessing us with another day! Despite our challenges, God sustains our lives. Job said it best in chapter 12:10 "In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."

    We will talk about turning to God and His Word when discouragement and fear get the best of us. God is our refuge and strength, a present help in times of trouble.

    The Advent Season celebrates the never-ending story of Jesus Christ. He was born in a manger, but the story doesn't end there. He was crucified on the cross, buried in a new tomb, and resurrected. He will return! Christmas is a time of reflection.

    Christ entered this world according to prophecy and died on the cross for the sins of the world. Merry Christmas! Join us as we celebrate the Advent Season with HOPE, PEACE, JOY, and LOVE which we have in Christ Jesus.

    A worthy life resides fully in Jesus Christ. God has positioned us in Christ and clothed us in His righteousness. As a believer, our lives should align with God's expectations. Our desires and goals are to walk worthy or consistently with who God is and what He has done. God is the one who saves and calls us. Through His power, we can bear fruit in every good work.

    Eph. 4:1 (NIV), says, "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received." Walking worthy is a true walk of faith, resulting from being in Christ Jesus.

    Jesus Christ is depicted through various figures, metaphors, and titles. One is the "Lion of Judah," evoking imagery of majesty, power, and authority. Rev. 5:5 (NIV), says, "Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He can open the scroll and its seven seals.” The Lion Tells His Tale is an African Proverb that says, "Until the lion tells his tale, the hunt will always glorify the hunter."Essentially, he who holds the pen controls the narrative. How do we make room for diverse voices to be heard in the story of American History? Who will tell the "Unspoken Truths" of the African American experience? These questions are explored in the world premiere play, "The Lion Tells His Tale." Join us Tuesday, July 23, at 3:30 PM (PT), with special studio guest, Vida Oliphant-Sneed, playwright of the play "The Lion Tells His Tale" which debuted in Seattle, Washington, on May 1-5, 2024. We will learn about her journey and why she wrote the play. Mrs. Sneed is a wife, mother, grandmother, and educator.     The Lord God is the source of our salvation. Christians are delivered and redeemed from the penalty of sin and its consequences which are death and separation from God. Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice through His death. He conquered death by rising from the dead. Christ Jesus is the personification of salvation. Isaiah 12:2 (NKJV) says, "Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation."
