Forrest contrasts this original message with what he describes as Paul’s later reinterpretation, which reshaped Christianity around a sacrificial Christ and eclipsed Jesus’ own teachings. From a Deist perspective, he invites listeners to rediscover the moral wisdom of Yeshua of Nazareth—centered on justice, compassion, and reverence for life—rather than the theological Christ constructed by institutional religion.
