We stand before the Black Madonna of Jasna Gora and notice the scars that were never erased, a sign that God often reveals grace through wounds instead of removing them. We reflect on Poland’s long memory of suffering and resilience and ask what it means for us to live as trustworthy stewards of what God places in our hands.

• new wine and fresh wineskins as a call to let Christ make us new
