As the founder of the Media Arts Institute of Alabama and the Media Arts Mentoring Academy, Mr. B gave Lance access to real-world experience in the entertainment industry at a young age. He didn’t just believe in his talent, he actually gave him platforms to exercise and sharpen his gifts; which resulted in Lance being recruited as a writer and audio operator behind-the-scenes at the 2015 Pasadena Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game.
Lance spoke at Mr. B's funeral program alongside legendary motivational speaker Eric Thomas, Grammy-winning vocalists from Take 6, and a host of other gifted professionals who were also mentored by Mr. B at a young age.
