This month Hogline is very excited to be chatting with an experienced curler and Olympian from Canada! 

With a Gold, Silver, and Bronze at the World Curling Championships, Silver at the World Junior Championships, a Bronze, three silvers and three Golds at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts our guest is at home on the ice as she is on social media, where her content goes viral. Not only a dedicated athlete on the ice, but a voice to women athletes off it too, Hogline is grateful to spend some time chatting with the wonderful Emma Miskew!

Episode 6 is here, and it's a bumper Christmas special! 

Santa's sack is truly bulging this year, and because you've all be 'good' this year we've decided to put TWO amazing interviews into the one episode.

In part one, dynamic father-son combo, Phil and Nathan interview dead-set Aussie curling legend, Olympian, and thoroughly nice person - Tahli Gill. We talk about the hectic 2022 she's had, the Olympics, graduating, and junior curling. Tahli, we cannot wait to chat with you again in 2023!

In part two Phil and Hal interview one of curling's elite! It was an honour and a privilege to sit down and chat to Olympic gold medallist, Niklas Edin. We talk about his recent injury and recovery process, the insane amount of travelling he does, and maybe a way for Phil to beat him at curling (hint - it's FLOOR curling!)

Episode 5 is here! Phil and Hal talk about the recent exciting competitions in Canada and Scotland; the Pan Continental Championship and the World Mixed Curling Championships. Both contests featured amazing Aussie teams, and other nations new to the world arena, and we discuss. We then reflect on an unfortunate injury to curling legend, Niklas Edin. Finally, we discuss the conclusion of the increasingly inaccurately titled "Winter League".

In part two Phil and Hal interview one of the loveliest skips on the world circuit. There's more to Maddy Dupont than meets the eye! Phil and Hal talk about the upcoming Australian Nationals competition in August, the 67th member of the World Curling Federation family, exciting new developments to Coaching and Umpiring coming to Western Australia in October. In part two Phil and Hal interview the current President of the Australian Curling Federation, Kim Forge. We ask what got Kim into Curling, her view on the future of junior curling, how her passion for the game has driven Australian curling, and her -mostly controversial - views on pineapple on pizza! Phil and Hal talk about the recent World Youth Championships in Sweden, the tragic loss of curling legend Thomas Ulsrud, Australia's recent inclusion to take part in the World Curling Federation's Youth Camp in Norway, and we touch upon the upcoming Australian Nationals competition in August. In part two Phil, Hal, and WA wheelchair curling superstar, Suzie Day interview Latvian Paralympian curler (and fencer) Polina Roskova. We talk about the challenges of wheelchair curling, staying warm, the cost of equipment, and why Polina would be a bit reluctant to leave the golden sand of Western Australia's beaches and enjoy the ocean!

Phil and Hal talk about the busy international curling calendar, and what a great year 2022 has already been so far (especially if you're from Sweden!) and of course we look at the amazing journey of Australian Mixed Doubles curling has had at the Beijing Winter Olympics and the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships in Geneva with Team Gill/Hewitt.

We then turn the spotlight on our very own, Curling WA Autumn League, and what's to come in terms of "Come and Try" sessions in Perth, WA.
