This is a first for the His Daughter Podcast! Last week I sat down with the amazing Christina DeMarco and talked about BEAUTY! What you don't know is I cut out a lot of the conversation. Not because it was bad! It was because the conversation was 2 conversations. Christina is one of my closest friends in LIFE! Having her on the PodCast was a dream and you will be hearing so much more from this Holy Ghost filled woman of God. The first conversation that you will hear is about us, our life, how we met, how she met her husband... I mean we go IN! Something I love about that first conversation is how we lay out the foundation of our relationship and then go into how we have been on this journey of beauty together.

When I first came to the Lord and found a church home, a group of women (leadership women) asked if I would like to join them for lunch. My first response was, "am I allowed?"
They laughed! "Of course!" They said. I was new to the church and really didn't know anyone. I also have never been surrounded by Daughters of Christ before. I remember at this lunch I sat in awe of these women. They spoke so openly about life and God. They talked about God like He was sitting at the table with us... He was...

I didn't speak. I didn't want to! I sat and listened to these women of faith talk. They had no idea how much their transparency, honesty, and biblical standing healed me. And all I had to do was listen.

This is that kind of conversation. Feel free to listen in on me and one of my closest friends have an open and honest conversation about life, marriage, beauty, and most of all GOD!

I sit down with my Beauty Queen Christina DeMarco, the owner and founder of Fifth & Eighth Beauty, to discuss Discovering Beauty. We share our own personal struggles in finding balance in life to maintain self-care and our journeys with the Lord in finding our individual styles. You might not think that the Lord cares about how you present yourself, but He does! He cares about every hair on your head! At the end of this great conversation, it all comes down to one thing. That one thing is, your heart posture is so important. Why do we do the things we do, and is it representing our Lord well.

I sat down with Jaimie Cofresi and talked business! Another topic I feel like we don't talk about enough as Christians. As followers of Christ, we are called to lead. We need to be in high places, providing Christ-like business practices to the corporate world and bringing Holy Spirit to everyone we encounter. Jaimie's testimony of how God blessed her life in the business world and what He taught her along the way is extremely inspiring! I pray you get something out of the conversation. I sure did!
