This week on Creative Thinking, we’re continuing our Advent journey, from the places of the story to the people who bring its pages to life.

In Matthew 2, we meet a restless king, wandering magi, and people who almost missed the miracle happening right in front of them. Advent encourages us to think about our own lives. It asks us to give up control for trust, distance for worship, and restlessness for peace.

Through Scripture, art, and song, we’ll explore how the people of Advent reveal the heart of a God who welcomes, redeems, and restores.

The Creative Thinking Podcast with Kim Thomas is a resource of The Village Chapel in Nashville, TN, designed to inspire, inform, and encourage creative thinking from a Biblical perspective. Kim Thomas, Curate of TVC and co-founder with her husband Pastor Jim in 2001, oversees and hosts the podcast, seasonal events, and special projects. Holding a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary, she serves on the Servant Leadership Council and Ministry Leadership Team at TVC, caring intentionally for the spiritual, intellectual, and cultural life of the TVC community.
