In HeroQuest: Barrow of the Beastmen – The Forgotten Crypt, Episode 3, the ordeal beneath the Forest of Shadows continues. Nuggy, Morgan, and Gjord, accompanied by the faithful wolf Gary and the steadfast Imperial guardsman Bob, press ever deeper into the sepulchral depths in search of a way back to the world of the living.

The crypt seems determined to resist them at every turn. Ancient passageways twist into darkness, forgotten tombs conceal fresh dangers, and the restless dead rise again and again to bar their path. Every victory comes at a cost, and with each new chamber explored, the party begins to realise just how vast—and how old—this subterranean labyrinth truly is.

With no hope of retreat and no certainty of escape, the heroes must keep moving forward. For in the Forgotten Crypt, standing still is often the quickest route to becoming one of its permanent residents.
