• Hope and joy are deeply connected in the life of a believer.
• Hope is the confident expectation of God's promises being fulfilled,
• Joy is the inner gladness that flows from trusting in that expectation, regardless of current circumstances.

Hope fuels joy. When we hold tightly to God's promises, we find a deep-seated joy that sustains us. When you truly believe that God is working all things together for your good, that He has a future and a purpose for you, joy will naturally spring up within your heart.

Joy is the emotional fruit of hope.

• Hope empowers us to see beyond trials,
• And joy erupts when we believe and trust in the goodness and faithfulness of God.
