So in this session we go into a brief but InshaAllah useful overview of the history of slavery in Islam while utilising many of the hadith and narrations found in this chapter to help our understanding.

From someone who was an opponent of Islam to becoming of the two best of the sahaba, lets learn how 'Umar was able to elevate himself in the Sight of Allah so we too, can elevate ourselves.
