I open up about grieving the dreams that didn't unfold the way I expected. The plans that fell apart. The relationships that ended. The version of life I was certain I'd be living by now.

Grief isn't always tied to death. Sometimes it's learning to let go of expectations so you can make room for a future you never saw coming.

If you've ever struggled with unmet expectations, disappointment, or starting over, I hope this conversation reminds you that it's okay to mourn what could have been while still embracing what's ahead.

Sometimes letting go isn't giving up—it's making room for a new beginning.

I've spent a lot of my life trying to escape discomfort.

Whether it was through relationships, distractions, busyness, or avoidance, I was always looking for a way out. But healing required something different. It required me to sit still long enough to feel what I had spent years trying to outrun.

I realized the uncomfortable realities of growth—the loneliness, uncertainty, grief, and self-reflection that often come before breakthrough. Sometimes the lesson isn't in fixing the feeling. Sometimes it's in allowing yourself to experience it.

Because what we avoid often has something to teach us.

It’s a life — and a full one at that.

In Episode 9 of Healing Her Soul Podcast, Single & Loving It, I talk about what it really means to be alone without feeling incomplete. Letting go of timelines. Unlearning the idea that partnership defines your worth. And learning how to enjoy your own company without constantly looking for the next relationship.

There’s a difference between being alone and finally being at peace.

Loving yourself isn’t loud. Sometimes it’s quiet decisions: setting boundaries, choosing differently, and no longer apologizing for your growth.

  • 🎧 Episode 6: Body Image Struggles

Loving yourself doesn’t happen overnight — especially after life has bruised you.

In Episode 6 of Healing Her Soul Podcast, Learning to Love the Woman in the Mirror, I share my personal struggles with body image and how deeply they’ve shaped the way I’ve seen myself over the years.

Real healing required unlearning self-criticism and choosing compassion over judgment. It meant confronting comparison, releasing shame, and learning to recognize the woman I’m becoming — not just the scars I carry.

Healing begins when you stop tearing yourself down and start honoring how far you’ve come.

    You are not behind.
    You are not broken.
    You are becoming.

Depression doesn’t always look like falling apart.
Sometimes it looks like functioning, smiling, and quietly feeling numb.

In Episode 5 of Healing Her Soul Podcast, Dealing with Depression, I talk about what it feels like to carry heaviness you can’t always explain. The exhaustion. The isolation. The moments when getting out of bed feels like a victory no one else sees.

This conversation isn’t about quick fixes or pretending positivity solves everything. It’s about acknowledging the weight, being honest about the struggle, and understanding that needing help doesn’t make you weak.

  • 🎧 Episode 4: Addicted to Love
    2026/02/13

I was addicted to what I thought was love — but really, it was just a temporary high.

I moved from situationship to situationship, holding on for dear life and hoping someone would finally choose me. I bent, gave, and overextended myself trying to earn love… and every time, it ended the same way — with a broken heart. I allowed my lack of self-love and self-respect to continue to put my heart and soul in harms way.
