概要
On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today John Bain shares that on January 6, 2026, the Clerk of Supreme Court of Iowa electronically filed that after screening it has been pursuant to Iowa Rule of Appellate Procedure 6.908(3) that oral arguments will be permitted on this matter. That means Bart Richmond, Plaintiff-Appellee, vs. Jefferson County Attorney, Defendant-Appellant will have his day in the Iowa Supreme Court on February 11, 2026, at 7 PM, signed by Susan Larson Christensen, Chief Justice. John reads to you and shares it on the screen, the entire Notice of Oral Argument in the Supreme Court of Iowa. Also, on this episode John shares a timeline on when Sheriff Bart Richmond was placed on the Brady-Giglio list by Jefferson County Attorney Chauncey Moulding as well as when Mr. Moulding was ordered by District Court Judge Jeffrey Farrell to remove Sheriff Richmond from the Brady-Giglio List. John will also go to his video archives and share with you when 28 Iowa State Senators sided with Sheriff Richmond on this case as well as video of the Jefferson County Board of Supervisors discussing this situation with both the Sheriff and County Attorney and imploring to the County Attorney to end it. Interviews with Sheriff Richmond and Jefferson County Board of Supervisors member Lee Dimmitt are included.
