As a competitive downhill mountain biker, sport was a major part of his life. At SBL, having more time allowed him to focus on what mattered to him while also exploring his interests, his studies and his future.

Thanosis reflects on the role of his facilitators, the importance of meaningful conversations and how the right environment helped him see possibilities he had not considered before.

Vassilis shares his perspective as a parent, including what he noticed in his son’s focus, independence and relationship with education.
