概要
Wild Space Gallery, situated in St. Pete's Warehouse Arts District, features two concurrent exhibitions that showcase Florida's exotic wildlife and stunning landscapes. The Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation's exhibit, You Are Here, offers conservation photography of Florida's exotic animals, along with a look into their work to protect Florida, in conjunction with artist Jeff Ripple's exhibit, Enduring Light, with his 19th-century-inspired landscape paintings.
Jules talks with the Gallery's director, Leslie Elsasser, the show's curator, Noel Smith, and the artist, Jeff Ripple. Both women share an interesting conversation about the art world, a behind-the-scenes look at exhibition production, and the Corridor's mission to protect Florida's wildlife. Jeff Ripple puts a smile on your face with his childhood stories growing up in the wildlands of Florida, and how it inspired his career as an artist.
