In the Battle of the South BBQ Series where the Atlanta Hawks once trailed by 24 points, a comeback was inevitable particularly late in the 4th quarter as so many highly anticipated the return of star guard Trae Young versus division rival Charlotte Hornets.

Trae's return wasn't the only party crashed at the Spectrum Center, rising star Jalen Johnson who has been one of the league's biggest surprises and leapers, also turned age 24 on Thursday evening.

Charlotte led by LaMelo Ball & score-leading rookie Kon Knueppel made ATL pay with a barrage of 3-point conversions, particularly in the 2nd quarter ultimately resulting in a 133-126 win for Charlotte.
