As the dust through dawn,

A wise man lives on

night the clouds

shifted into

a dark violet-blue sky

The temperature increased;

The night was so dry and mystical.

Mambo’s house was beaten,

by the heat.

The breeze from the shorelines

Suddenly,

the sound of lightning flashes

It clasped.

It had broken the limbs’

fall of the trees

The hastened massive rain;

Then shocking

of the rain came abruptly.

While the clock resumed

Tock,

synchronized from my

Late Grandpa’s

heirloom pocket watch.

Shortly, the depressed lightening

had stopped

until the gush of water trickling way down below the maternal

mother’s knees

The mother swiftly

gave a premature birth

To feeble lad;

his folded hands clutched towards

the placenta is so tight,

Like a nestle blanket

As memory serves,

The accessory from his cord remain

The baby voiced an intense brawl

Mambo is afraid of what she had saw
