In this message from 1 Corinthians 5:6–7 (ESV), the call is issued for the Church to reclaim its role as a guardian of God’s house. This sermon challenges the idea that tolerance equals love and reminds us that grace does not eliminate responsibility. Through Paul’s warning about leaven, we are shown how small, unchecked compromises can quietly reshape culture and identity. This word calls believers to guard what God has entrusted, to live consistent with who Christ has already made us, and to protect the house with courage, humility, and clarity. To name Christ is not just to confess Him, but to steward His dwelling.
