In this episode, I'm sharing a personal update after the passing of my dad.
About a year ago, my dad was diagnosed with ALS. A little over a week ago, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by people he loved. While I haven't spoken publicly about his diagnosis before now, I felt it was important to share where I've been, why things have been quieter lately, and some of the lessons I've been reflecting on during this difficult time.
I talk about grief, how it comes and goes in unexpected waves, and what it was like to see just how many lives my dad impacted throughout his lifetime. One of the most meaningful moments from his service was realizing how many people showed up to honor him and the difference he made in their lives.
I also share why ALS awareness and research have become even more important to me moving forward, and how I hope to use my platform to help bring more attention to this devastating disease.
This is a shorter episode, but I wanted to personally check in, say thank you for your support, and let you know that more conversations are on the way.
