ouchy growing pains
things have felt really out of my control lately and i've had to remind myself so many times I can only control how i show up in situations, how i treat people, and how i communicate. I've been tested in more ways than one and even then I can see my growth in how i handle these situations. I didn't want to post this week because of how shitty I've felt but I made a promise to show up even in hard times so I hope you resonated with something in this episode. I love you.

I'm so grateful for my 19 year old self. Through her grief and her pain, she planted seeds that I'm watching flourish now. I'm able to pick the fruits and flowers from what she prayed for. Your words are powerful, be intentional, even if you have no idea what's gonna happen or how it's gonna play out. Allow yourself the space and grace to grow because I promise if you stay dedicated to yourself, you'll become the person you needed.

Everything I learned about love, I've learned from my female friendships.
Female friendships is going to be an ongoing conversation on this pod, I'm learning and unlearning so much! The women in my life are surprising me so much with how they choose me and allow me the space to grow, which is all i could ever ask for.
Me two years ago would be amazed that I'm allowing myself to receive love and support from friends that I trust.
Making a list of exactly the friendship I want really set the tone and energy for these people to come in my life.
