概要
This is not a story about Batman dying. It’s a story about Batman being psychologically dismantled and surviving anyway.
In this Hero Bishop Review, I break down Grant Morrison’s Batman R.I.P. arc from Omnibus Volume 1 step by step. We look at how the Black Glove attacks Bruce Wayne’s mind, how Batman planned for his own mental collapse, and why Zur-En-Arrh Batman exists at all.
We also dig deep into Morrison’s version of the Joker. This Joker is not funny, not playful, and not interested in jokes. He feels closer to a modern chaos persona, more performance art than prankster, and honestly reminds me a lot of Jared Leto’s Joker in terms of energy, aesthetics, and behavior.
If you ever read Batman R.I.P. and thought “I feel like I missed something,” this video is for you.
This is Batman as a system. Batman as discipline. Batman as something that survives when Bruce Wayne is stripped away.
