For years women were dismissed and urged not to work, and when they did work, it was not celebrated because it was shameful to be considered a powerhouse and a woman. But as I've grown in my relationship with the Lord and studied His word, I've discovered that many biblical women have held various positions and were great forces to be reckoned with. We may now see that it is normal for a woman to work in the modern world. I wanted to recognize one of the many ladies in my life who manages to balance her multiple duties so well and serves as a beautiful example of what it means to be on assignment for the Lord. She described how she struggled to find her position, how she eventually heard God's voice, said "yes," and is now in the category of being on assignment for Him and embracing the journey. She aspires to keep setting a good example and inspiring others to step into their proper role as the Lord's people.
