  • Episode 127--The Personal God: What Christmas and the Gita Teach Us
    2025/12/25

Why do we long for a love that doesn’t fade… a presence that feels close… a connection that feels personal?

In this special Christmas episode of Gita in Action, we explore a beautiful message at the heart of Bhagavad Gita 9.15–9.16: God is not an abstract idea — He is a loving, personal source who shows up in our lives in ways we can recognize and relate to.

    We’ll look at:

    • The three ways people understand God in the Gita — and why the personal conception is the most fulfilling

    • How bhakti transforms spirituality from a concept into a relationship

    • Why Krishna says “I am the father, the mother, the support, the object of worship” — and what that means for us

    • How Christmas reminds the world that God meets us where we are

If you’ve ever wondered: “Is God really here with me?” “How do I experience the personal side of the Divine?” “What if my heart still feels unsure?”

    …this conversation is for you.

May this season awaken a deeper connection — one that feels close, real, and full of love. ❤️🙏

  • Episode 126--Living Bhakti in the Middle of Real Life
    2025/12/22

What does devotion actually look like when life is busy, overwhelming, and imperfect?

In this episode, we explore Bhagavad Gita 9.14, where Krishna describes the great souls who worship Him with devotion, determination, and love in action. Together, we talk about kīrtan beyond just singing, the power of showing up for God even when it’s uncomfortable, and how bhakti isn’t about escaping our responsibilities—but reorienting them.

This conversation is for anyone trying to practice spiritual life while juggling work, family, caregiving, exhaustion, and real-world struggles. We reflect on honoring our time with God, staying connected through service and chanting, and learning how small, sincere efforts—done with love—can transform our inner world.

Bhakti isn’t meant to be lived on the sidelines of life. It’s meant to be lived right in the middle of it.

  • Episode 125--The Square Peg Problem: What We’re Really Searching For
    2025/12/18

Why does it feel like no matter how much we achieve, heal, learn, or improve ourselves, something still feels missing?

In this episode of Gita in Action, we explore a powerful teaching from Bhagavad Gita 9.12–9.13, where Krishna explains why even sincere effort — including spiritual effort — can leave us feeling unfulfilled when God isn’t at the center, and how a different orientation of the heart leads to steadiness and clarity.

We talk about the “square peg problem”: how we try to fill the heart with careers, relationships, self-help, success, and even spirituality, only to discover that none of them quite fit. Not because they’re bad or meaningless — but because they’re not meant to replace the source of love and fulfillment.

Through practical examples, personal stories, and reflections on devotion, surrender, and the nature of great souls (mahatmas), this episode shows how the endless search finally comes to rest — not through repression or denial, but through real connection with Krishna, the inexhaustible source of joy.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re running hard but still not arriving, this conversation offers clarity, hope, and a gentler way forward.

  • Episode 124--Seeing God Clearly: Healing Projection, Hurt, and Misunderstanding
    2025/12/15

In this class on Bhagavad Gita 9.11, we explore why we often struggle to see Krishna as He truly is. Krishna appears in a humanlike form, but His form is completely spiritual — eternal, full of knowledge, full of bliss. He is not an ordinary person; He is the Supreme Person. Yet because we’ve been shaped by human hurt, judgment, or disappointment, we tend to project those experiences onto God and assume He feels toward us the way people have.

We also look at the “God-sized hole” within each of us — the longing for perfect love and acceptance — and how we unintentionally try to fill that longing with people or achievements that can never satisfy the soul. The Gita teaches that only Krishna, the transcendently personal and all-attractive Lord, can fulfill the heart’s deepest desire for connection, and He reciprocates in ways no human ever could.

By healing the filters of projection and misunderstanding, we begin to see Krishna clearly — not as a limited human figure, but as the eternally loving Supreme Person who invites us into a real, personal relationship with Him.

  • Episode 123--You’re Not Alone in the Chaos: Krishna Is Actually Running the Show
    2025/12/08

In this episode, we explore Bhagavad Gita 9.8–9.10 — a powerful sequence where Krishna reveals how the entire universe moves under His gentle supervision. He explains that creation, maintenance, and dissolution all unfold by His will (9.8), yet He remains completely unattached and unaffected (9.9). And in 9.10, He clarifies how material nature works under His direction, carrying out the cosmic functions while He remains the steady, guiding force behind everything. Together, these verses offer something incredibly comforting and relatable: Life isn’t random. The universe isn’t chaotic. And you’re not navigating this place alone. We dive into why Krishna’s non-entanglement matters, how material nature operates like a faithful instrument under Him, and why realizing His role brings so much peace and relief into our everyday lives. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or unsure about the direction of your life, these verses help you reconnect with the truth that you’re cared for, supported, and guided — always.
