Dr. Kurt Love
Bio:
Dr. Kurt Love is an educator, management consultant, and the founder of Aina Consulting. As the creator of the Humancentric Leadership Model (HLM) and the Community Thriving Spectrum, he helps organizations move past basic compliance into true human thriving.
His data-driven systemic approach transforms workplace culture, proving that employee well-being is a paramount condition (and least understood) drives financial success.
Dr. Love's philosophy is inspired by the Hawaiian concept of ʻĀina, treating organizations as living ecosystems that must nourish their people. He targets the "grey space," the undocumented area where common leadership perception gaps tend to miss deep burnout, digital exhaustion, and toxic behaviors like workplace bullying. Dr. Love recently applied this framework by leading a diversity community study for Kittery, Maine, and conducting community reviews for five school districts across Massachusetts.
Central to Dr. Love's work is helping businesses leverage their Employee Net Promoter Score as a major profit strategy. By replacing guesswork with real-time data, his six-stage leadership system captures a clear Thriving ROI. Engaged teams achieve higher profitability and greater productivity, while thriving employees are more likely to be high performers. His strategies eliminate the costly "quiet cracking" that drives up sick days, saving companies up to 200 percent of an employee's salary in avoided turnover costs.
Furthermore, building a safe environment sparks a jump in innovation, while a stable team increases client trust and boosts sales conversions. The most important goal, though, is creating thriving workplace that bolster workers, rather than grinding them down...because adulthood is long and continuously demanding.
In addition to his consulting practice, Kurt holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut. An Associate Professor at Central Connecticut State University since 2008, he teaches courses on sustainability, policy, and leadership.
Kurt also serves as an elected member of the Ashford Board of Education.
