概要
In this week’s episode, Geoff McDonald, mental health campaigner, business transformation consultant and co-founder of Minds@Work, joins Paul in a open conversation about his struggle with being diagnosed with anxiety-fueled depression and how the day his friend took his own life, was a day that changed his life.
Previously the Global VP of HR for 25 years at Unilever, Geoff shares his devotion to ending the stigma of depression and anxiety in the workplace, with hopes to inspire leaders to embrace mental health and empower organisations to support the wellbeing of their employees.
What are organisations really doing to tackle stigma? Have mental health speakers and initiatives just become a tickbox activity in the workplace? Paul and Geoff speak openly about their experiences in this space and how organisations can be held accountable for the steps, or lack of steps, their taking to tackle these issues.
