Dearest Sarangees. For the final stretch of Genie, Make A Wish, we’re switching things up and combining episodes 10 & 11 into one action-packed recap, especially episode 11, because WOW.

In episode 10, young Halmoni begins preparing for her own death, Minji uncovers the truth about Miju’s identity, and the immortals edge closer to an inevitable confrontation. Genie experiences unsettling flashbacks… and then episode 11 drops the emotional bomb we’ve been waiting for: the truth behind Genie’s 20-year memory gap. We learn that Genie and Ka-young fell deeply in love in Old Dubai, only for their love to be torn apart by human greed. Back in the present, young Halmoni, Minji, and the villagers are forced to witness a devastating tragedy. We also wrap up our actor deep dives, spotlighting Kim Mi Kyung (Halmoni), Ko Kyu Pil (Sade), and Woo Hyun Jin (Irem).

Next week—on Christmas Eve—we’ll conclude our chase with the final episodes, 12 and 13. Don’t miss it, Sarangees!
