As Genesis Church steps into a new season of freedom from debt and expanded ministry, we are encouraged to rise up, live on mission, and share the hope of Jesus with a world in desperate need of Him.

In this message from 2 Corinthians 3, Pastor Bob unpacks the theme of validation in Christ. Paul reminds the Corinthians that their worth and ministry are not built on human letters of recommendation or the old law, but on the new covenant written by the Spirit on their hearts. True validation comes from God’s grace, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the lives transformed through our witness. As Pastor Bob encourages, we don’t need the world’s approval to serve Jesus—God Himself has already validated us to live boldly in His freedom.

This week at Genesis Church was a special “Missions Sunday,” as Pastor Bob turned the pulpit over to share stories of God’s work locally and globally. Kris & Cindy Anderson from TIME Missions reported on ministry growth in the Dominican Republic and Mexico, while Terry Danner testified about life change through Rock of Hope in Namibia, including the transformation of an alcoholic into a future pastor. Tim Ferrence shared how Young Life is reaching local students, and Duane Furman updated on Christ-centered free health care at Katallasso. Miguel Amador described gospel impact on college campuses through Disciple Makers. Pastor Reggie from Recovery House of Worship inspired with testimonies of lives changed from addiction through street ministry in York and beyond. The service celebrated partnerships, encouraged prayer, and challenged the church to engage in local, regional, and global mission work empowered by the Holy Spirit.
