What could bring more 'queer joy' than a gay clown?
Here's a collaborative performance piece on the theme of friendship (otherwise called 'a chat') with the drag king, clown, and best friend Riss Obolensky (aka King Herod). This episode is about how much we hate sincerity, and, sincerely, how much we love each other.
Whether you're into The Artist's Way or MUNA's The One That Got Away, spirituality or Gossip Girl, soberness or being a little freak on the dance floor (not the sexy kind), I hope you enjoy this mischief. Riss and I platonically flirt with each other by reminiscing about our ironing board meet-cute, having an unconventional threesome (involves a dead rat), writing a beloved character based on them, and getting matching tattoos of an in-joke.
You can follow Riss on instagram @rissobolensky.
Shout-outs to:
🤡 Top of the Slops drag competition
🤡 Ecstatic dance
🤡 The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron
🤡 MUNA
🤡 My Own Worst Enemy by Lily Lindon – specifically the very lovable character of Raphy
