Episode 18 Process Step 2 God Feels

Do you realize God has emotions.

Do you ever ask God how He feels? Have you ever asked Him how did I make you feel when I did this?

Do you spend time in contemplation with God?

Can you identify your emotions? Realize God feels these same emotions on a much deeper level than you do.

I challenge you to look up bible verses that express God's emotions.

Read:

God's is Jealous. So much so His name is Jealous. See Exodus 34:14.

Also

Exodus 20:5, Deuteronomy 4:24 & 2 Corinthians 11:2. There are other verses as well.

You can grieve God by grieving the Holy Spirit. See Ephesians 4:30.

Can feels anger. See Deuteronomy 4:21 & 32:21 & Psalm 7:11.

God feels love which is what provokes Him to be jealous. He loves us that much. See John 3:16-17 about God's love.

There are many passages and verses about God's emotions. I challenge you to spend some time exploring more than what I have listed and look for them in your regular Bible reading.

Episode 17 The Process Step 2 Understanding Worship

What kind of an aroma do you give off to God?

Romans 12:1-2

Read Exodus 30:1-10; 35; 37:25-29 - Remember the people's life and daily work were about preparing and developing the sacrifices that they would offer at the Tabernacle. Every aspect of their life was about giving all of themselves to God so their worship would be an acceptable offering to the Lord.

John 4 (verses 22-24) - As a side note also pay attention to the food and water references that Jesus makes. I believe that the fact people would work and sacrifice and give the fruit of their labor as a sacrifice is an important aspect of worship. There are several passages that you can read that pertain to this.

Episode 16 Process Step 1 The Why of God!

I left this as a live recording so you would sense the passion of this part of the process.

What is your why?

Where did your why come from?

What does the Bible say about what is God's why for man?

How does Fearing God play into this?

To train properly we must know the why of God. Without this we will not have the anchor that will give us the grit and focus when things get hard and we are being tested.

Episode 15 The Process Step 1 God Is?

The last few minutes are recorded without edit because I wanted to express the passion that the fire of the Holy Spirit placed in me to do this.

Can you answer the question God Is and fill in the blank?

Do you have a real fear of God? Can the fear of God actually lead to freedom in Christ?

Have you ever physically trained for something?

Do you understand what practice is?

Do you practice God?

On a scale of 1 to 10 how important do you think it is to spiritually train?

How long did the disciples train? How about Paul? How about Moses?

What characteristics does training produce that are necessary to become a spiritual warrior?

Do you have a process?

Is testing a part of training?

The whole point of this entire Podcast is to equip you to be an ambassador of Jesus. To make disciples. It is what we are called to do.

The W's

Win the War

War - Know that we are always are war with our enemy

Will - God's Will over our will

Word - Embrace & surrender to all of God's word

Way - Follow God's way by obeying Him and be led by His Spirit

When - Obey and submit to His timing.

Win - Victory is in following ALL of Christ's ways

Read Deuteronomy 8 & Matthew 4 & for kicks and giggles you can add Genesis 6 & 7- Are we willing to be trained (Paul trained for about 3 years. Acts 9 & Galatians 1:17 lays this out and the timing fits these passages according to most biblical scholars.) Are we willing to be tested and disciplined. Also read Hebrews 12, Job 23:10, Psalm 17:3 & 26:2, Proverbs 3:12, John 21:15-18, Genesis 22:1-19
