The purpose of this podcast is to explore interesting game related topics in conversation with guests who play an active role in the industry. Each episode, the host will be joined by a guest that gives practical, real-life angles on the subjects, and together they aim at providing a deeper understanding of the topics from a legal as well as a business perspective.

The plan is to explore topics such as legal protection of video games, user generated content, fan art, AI in game development, investments, publishing, and much more.

    Thomas is a Hyper-optimist, working on multi-player turn-based technology building games that utilize possibilities of digital - board games with additional layers. To be available on mobile and web. Together with three other industry veterans, Thomas is currently building the start-up studio, Glitchfjørd Games, leaning into Scandinavian cool vibe.
    “Mobile space is stale!” - Thomas has the desire to avoid free-to-play mechanics, such as battle-pass, lootbox, etc. Instead he is considering the “friend pass”, that offers more virality options.

    In this episode of GAME Law & Business, we continue our Publishing theme and sit down with Alexandar Skronski, the Head of Publishing at Ghost Ship Publishing. With tons of experience in the games industry, Alex shares his journey and insights into the world of game publishing.

We discuss the importance of supporting developers both in operation and contract-wise to secure fair and successful business for all parties.
