このコンテンツについて
In this episode of The Joy of Entertaining, host Charlie Bruno – The Mascot Dude welcomes one of his mascot "brothens," the multi-talented Doug Waug!
Doug's path to entertainment is unlike any other. After serving in the military, he transitioned into performing as a practical effects actor in heavy makeup and costumes for low-budget movies. He currently hosts and acts in the public access Roku show "B-Movie TV" and even performs in a band called "Clown Syndrome" in a heavy mascot outfit!
Doug discusses the challenging but rewarding work of performing, from joining a local hockey team as a mascot in 2002 to the physical endurance required to push through a heavy costume while the crowd is cheering. This is a powerful conversation about finding your dream job, entertaining people, and getting a great workout in at the same time!
