He is an economist and author whose books address taxes, healthcare, the Federal Reserve, economic cycles, and his own life story. Sabrin was a candidate for Governor of New Jersey and the U.S. Senate. In 1997, as the Libertarian Party's nominee for Governor, he became the first third-party candidate in New Jersey to receive matching funds and participate in the official gubernatorial debates with the two major-party candidates.
