    2023/05/01

In this episode I have a quick interview with my 12 1/2 year old daughter about her experiences as a 12 year old.  This was a last minute interview and she was nervous but I think she did a great job.  I  was grateful that she doesn’t have a lot of anxiety surrounding school lock downs or shootings, and as grateful for that as I  am I recognize that it comes with some level of privilege and frankly luck.

    Discussed in this episode:

    - School Safety and School Shootings
    - Parental Rules
    - What it’s like to be a part of a large family
    - What she thinks she will be like as a Mom
    - What age is the best age to get married
    - What she imagines her husband will be like
    - Where she imagines she will live and why she wants to live there
    - Favorite Family Vacation
    - Favorite Family Tradition
    - Her favorite thing that she’s done with me
    - Her favorite things to do
    - What she looks for in a friend
