概要

Welcome to the Four Wide Pod — hosted by four friends, Austin, Blake, Cole, and Kent, who’ve been talking NASCAR together for years. We’re not insiders or former drivers, but we’ve followed the sport long enough to know what we’re talking about. From late-night post-race debates to in-depth discussions of team drama, this podcast is a natural extension of the way we’ve always talked about racing.

We’re real fans, not media guys pushing narratives or playing favorites. Each of us brings a unique take to the table, and we don’t always agree! That’s what makes our conversations so juicy. Whether it’s recapping the latest Cup race or calling out bad strategy or no calls, we say what a lot of fans are thinking... yet that NASCAR media outlets won't.

If you’re tired of the same safe takes and want a show that sounds like it’s for the fans, by the fans, you’re in the right spot. Four Wide is where the REAL NASCAR talk happens.

  • Carter Croghan on the West Coast Grind | Atlanta Recap & Reddick Goes Back-to-Back
    2026/02/25

This week on Four Wide Pod, we’ve got Carter Croghan in the house to talk motorsports life from the ground up — from spotting and turning wrenches to doing whatever it takes to stay involved in racing.

We get into Carter’s story: the challenges and rewards of working in the sport beyond the driver’s seat, the insights he’s gained spotting and working on cars, and how that perspective shapes his view on racing and the competitors chasing the big time.

After we dive into Carter’s journey as a true motorsports journeyman, we kick things off with a recap of the Atlanta NASCAR weekend. Tyler Reddick made headlines by becoming just the sixth driver in NASCAR history to open a season with back-to-back wins after his thrilling Autotrader 400 victory at EchoPark Speedway — a race where he battled through damage and chaos to take the checkered flag.

We break down what those performances mean for the early-season narrative and transition into a preview of the next big stops on the calendar, including Circuit of The Americas (COTA) — the Cup Series’ first road course of the year, where strategy and precision will be at a premium, and the return of St. Petersburg for the Truck series

  • Daytona Weekend Recap | Reddick’s Lawsuit Retribution | 4 Wide Truck Finish | Decker Drama
    2026/02/18

Daytona delivered one of the most dramatic weekends of the season, and we are breaking down everything that mattered.

Tyler Reddick’s win was not just another trophy. It felt like retribution with the aftermath of the lawsuit tension that surrounded 23XI. We unpack what the victory means, the timing behind it, and why this one carries more weight than a typical superspeedway win.

The Truck Series stole the spotlight with a jaw-dropping four-wide finish at Daytona, a classic superspeedway moment that instantly joins the highlight reel.

We also address the Natalie Decker situation and the reaction surrounding it, separating noise from reality and giving our full perspective on how it fits into the broader NASCAR conversation.

From redemption arcs to photo finishes and off-track headlines, this was a Daytona weekend that had everything, and we cover it all on Four Wide Pod.
