    In this episdoe we discuss all things Arsenal, in preperation for the brand new season. Recorded just after the community shield, we talk about their performance against manchester City and their form throughout pre-season.

    Furthermore, we discuss thier most recent signings Tzolis and Bruno Guimaraes and the potential incoming transfer of Ezri Konsa to the club, as well as the recent links to Victor Osimhen.

    In addition, we praise Arsenal's academy and Arteta's role in creating a clear pathway for the the young players at Arsenal Academy to play in the first team.

    We also look at Havertz's performance as the false number 9, the battle at right back between Ben White and Jurrien Timber, Victor Gyokeres struggles and the remergence of Odegaard after his World Cup performances.

    Phil talks about his ambitions and expectations for Arsenal this season, about retaining the Premier League, winning a domestic cup and the Champions League and striving for greatness.

  • Football Foes and Fandom Woes Episode 10 - Chelsea: New Manager, New Philosophy, New Beginnings?

    In this episode, we disucss one of our biggest local rivals, Chelsea.

    We look at their new manager Xavi Alonso, and discuss his identity and philosophy and the immediate impact he has had already on the club in terms of being able to sign player he wants, being the manager and not the head coach and implementing a style he wants to play.

    Furthermore, we discuss the change in direction from the Chelsea heirachy in relation to their transfer plans, buying more experienced Premier League players rather than the untried brilliant young players with potential.

    In addition we discuss the potential sales of Pedro Neto, Nicholas Jackson, Liam Delap and Enzo Fernandez, as well as Chelsea's need to buy an elite level goalkeeper. We also look at the potential loans for many of their excellent young players.

    Finally, we also discuss whether we believe Chelsea can win the Premier league or a domestic trophy and qualify for the Champions League.

    In this Episode we are discussing all things Tottenham Hotspur in readiness for the start of the new 2026/2027 football season. We will be discussing the impact already made by De Serbi, their new manager, the positive impact of the new signings and the money they have uncharacteristically spent on those new signings.


    We will look at their most recent performances in pre-season and some of the players which they are still in the market of potentially buying and bringing to the club, such as Cody Gakpo from Liverpool and Savinho.

    Furthermore, we will reflect on Tottenham's two previous managers and the fans toxicity towards the club's heirarchy due to those two appointments.

    In addition, we will look at the future of some of the younger players such as Mikey Moore, Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray and Mathys Tel, and whether they will reamain at the club and have a big impact on the team's performance this season.

    We will also discuss the sale of Romero and his potential move to Arsenal, as well as the sales of Djedd Spence and Will Lankshear. Did Spurs sell the next Harry Kane.

    Finally we will also discuss our predictions for Tottenham and where we think they will come in the league, whether they can qualify for Europe or win a domestic trophy and the players we would still love to see come to the club.
