    Join us for our discussion on the authority of Jesus from Mark chapter two. In this discussion, we talk about how faith in Jesus asking for healing relates to our faith in him for forgiveness of sins. Not all illnesses are necessarily caused by personal sin. Jesus has authority to forgive sins. Next we look at how Jesus' authority is displayed in his mission and purpose to rescue the sinner. He can courageously enter into very personal spaces and conversations with sinners, knowing his purpose to rescue them. Lastly we talked about how Jesus has authority over the Sabbath and the role of fasting in the life of the Christian.
