• Leading with Fear - Absolutely Not!
    2026/04/29

New updates to the editing software may cause some additional delays and a different sound.

Fear-based leadership may produce short-term compliance, but it ultimately erodes trust, stifles innovation, and disconnects people from purpose. In this episode, we draw a firm line in the sand—fear has no place in transformational leadership.

Instead, we explore what it means to lead from a place of love: a leadership posture rooted in courage, clarity, accountability, and genuine care for people.

Joining the conversation are Angie Pinkard and Leigha Ellis of LEAP Academy—two powerhouse leaders who are shaping environments where people are seen, developed, and empowered to thrive. Together, we unpack how rejecting fear creates space for growth, authenticity, and lasting impact.

  • Generational Gaps in Leadership
    2026/04/22

In this episode of Flip the Tables, we take on one of the most complex and often misunderstood dynamics in leadership: generational gaps. From Baby Boomers to Generation Z, today’s leaders are navigating teams shaped by vastly different values, communication styles, and expectations. But instead of seeing these differences as barriers, we reframe them through the lens of Love Leadership—a framework rooted in intentional influence, relational trust, and purpose-driven leadership.

At the center of this conversation is the model of Jesus Christ, who led across generational, cultural, and ideological divides with clarity, compassion, and conviction. Long before workplace generational tensions were studied, Jesus was demonstrating how to unify people who saw the world very differently—without compromising truth or mission.

  • Character & Integrity within Leadership
    2026/04/15

Virtual interviews do have a different sound -- just as a warning during the interview portion.

Let’s be honest: most leaders talk about integrity… until it costs them something.

In this episode of Flip the Tables, we step into the foundation of leadership that no one can fake for long: character and integrity. Because somewhere along the way, leadership became more about perception than alignment—more about looking the part than living it.

    And that’s the problem.

Because character isn’t built in public—it’s revealed there. And integrity isn’t tested when it’s easy—it’s proven when it’s expensive.

You can have talent without character. You can have influence without integrity. But you cannot sustain leadership without both. Because eventually, what’s hidden shows up.

If your leadership only holds together when people are watching… it’s not leadership—it’s performance. And performance will always collapse under pressure.

The Love Leadership framework is built on strong character and integrity.

Love is not just kind. Love is consistent. Love is not just patient. Love is truthful.

You cannot claim to lead with love if your private decisions contradict your public values. And you cannot claim to lead with love if your integrity only shows up when it’s convenient.

Because real love doesn’t just care about outcomes—it cares about how those outcomes are achieved. And at the end of the day, people don’t follow perfection… they follow consistency. They trust leaders whose lives match their words.

If this episode challenges you (and it should), don’t just sit with it—share it.

Send it to a leader who talks about values but struggles to live them out. You know the one.

  • Accountability & Grace in Leadership
    2026/04/08

Let’s be honest: most leaders love grace… until accountability shows up.

In this episode of Flip the Tables, we step into one of the most tension-filled dynamics in leadership: accountability and grace. Because somewhere along the way, leaders started treating these two like opposites, like you can either hold people accountable or extend grace, but not both.

    And that’s the problem.

Because accountability without grace feels like control. And grace without accountability? That’s just enabling dysfunction with a smile.

Real leadership doesn’t ignore mistakes—but it also doesn’t weaponize them.

If your team is constantly walking on eggshells, afraid to fail, or unsure if they’ll be met with correction or condemnation… that’s not accountability—that’s fear.

And fear will never produce healthy leadership.

Accountability & Grace Connection to Love Leadership

Within the Love Leadership framework, accountability and grace are not competitive; they are partners.

Love tells the truth. Grace restores the person.

You cannot claim to lead with love if you avoid hard conversations to keep people comfortable. And you cannot claim to lead with love if you correct people without caring about their growth.

    Love Leadership says:

    • We will address what’s broken
    • But we will not break people in the process

Because real love doesn’t ignore issues it steps into them with clarity, courage, and compassion.

And at the end of the day, people don’t grow where they’re excused… they grow where they’re challenged and supported.

If this episode challenges you (and it probably should), don’t just sit with it—share it.

Send it to a leader who either avoids accountability or uses it as a weapon. You know the one.

And if you’re ready to lead differently to build teams where accountability and grace coexist, reach out to me at flipthetablespodcast@gmail.com. Let’s start having the conversations most leaders are still avoiding.

  • Trust & Transparency in Leadership
    2026/04/01

Please note there will be feedback within the interview portion

Let’s be honest trust is easy to preach and painfully hard to practice.

In this episode of Flip the Tables, we dive headfirst into one of the most overused and under-delivered promises in leadership: trust and transparency. With both scholarly insight and biblical grounding. We also get a chance to sit down and chat with Mr. Joel Bailey!

We talk about what it looks like to lead with transparency (hint: it’s not just oversharing when it’s convenient), and why trust isn’t built in big moments—it’s built in the small, consistent decisions that either prove your integrity… or expose the lack of it.

Because if your team is guessing what you’re thinking, questioning your motives, or bracing for impact every time you speak… that’s not leadership—that’s survival mode.

And people weren’t created to thrive in survival mode.

Trust isn’t a leadership accessory, it’s the foundation. And transparency? That’s the evidence.

Because at the end of the day, people don’t follow titles… they follow leaders they can trust.

Trust & Transparency Connection to Love Leadership

Within the Love Leadership framework, trust and transparency are non-negotiable. You cannot claim to lead with love while operating in secrecy, inconsistency, or self-protection.

Love-centered leadership is honest. It’s clear. It’s accountable.

It says what needs to be said, owns what needs to be owned, and creates environments where people feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and valued—not managed.

Because real love in leadership doesn’t manipulate perception builds people.

And if your leadership lacks transparency, don’t be surprised when it lacks trust too.

  • Humor in Leadership
    2026/03/25

Let’s be honest—some leaders take themselves way too seriously.

In this episode of Flip the Tables, after of a bit of scholarly and scripture backing, we sit down with Dr. John Reams to unpack a truth that often gets overlooked in leadership spaces: humor isn’t a distraction from leadership—it’s a catalyst for it.

We explore how humor, when rooted in humility and awareness, can disarm tension, build trust, and create cultures where people actually want to show up and engage. This isn’t about being the office comedian—it’s about understanding the power of levity in serious moments and using it to lead people well.

Because at the end of the day, if your leadership creates pressure but never relief… you’re probably doing it wrong.

Humor isn’t about being funny—it’s about being human.

The best leaders know when to carry weight… and when to lighten it.

    Love Leadership Connection

Within the Love Leadership framework, humor plays a critical role in creating connection and trust. It reflects humility, emotional intelligence, and presence.

Love-centered leadership doesn’t create environments of fear and rigidity—it creates space for joy, authenticity, and real relationships.

And sometimes the most loving thing a leader can do… is help people breathe again.

If your leadership can’t handle a little laughter, it probably can’t handle real people either.

    Call to Action

If this episode challenged or encouraged you, share it with a leader who could use a reminder that they don’t have to carry it all so seriously. Reach out to me and lets dive deeper into this discussion at flipthetablespodcast@gmail.com - I would love to connect.

  • Peacekeeping vs. Peacemaking
    2026/03/18

In leadership, conflict is inevitable—but how leaders respond to it reveals their character and priorities. In this episode of Flip the Tables, we unpack the critical difference between peacekeeping and peacemaking, and why confusing the two can quietly undermine trust, accountability, and integrity within organizations.

Peacekeeping often prioritizes comfort over truth. Peacemaking prioritizes restoration through truth.

Love Leadership does not avoid conflict—it redeems it.

    • Leadership egos... well, those keep getting bigger too

This episode dives into Love Leadership and why this leadership style of Jesus still disrupts the systems we've built today.
