For the last 57 years people from all walks of life in Knoxville, TN come together to bring the story of the birth of Jesus Christ to life. The cast is made up of 120 volunteers, the choir is 150 voices strong and the animals add the "cherry on top" to the dramatic recreation of the Christmas story.

How did the Nativity Pageant become a thing in Knoxville? What does it take to make this event not only happen but make sure it is free to all who want to see it? I'm so glad you asked. This pod is all about the labor of love for this special Knoxville holiday tradition.

Technology is getting weirder and weirder. In the past couple of months I have had two encounters with the Meta glasses. In one instance I had a very negative emotional reaction to seeing them and in the other I had no emotional reaction at all. So what does it mean?

Back in June there was story on the local news about Rodney Lee. He had a heart attack while out on a local Knoxville nature trail. He encountered a Good Samaritan, Zach during his ordeal and Zach was able to assist Rodney until EMTs arrived. After his hospital stay, Rodney was on a mission to thank Zach. This is Rodney's story.

I grew up listening to Sawyer Brown and I thought Mark Miller was an absolute dream boat. I also thought the "Race Is On" was a Sawyer Brown song until I was in my 20's and so did another country superstar.
