Dr. Karen Swallow Prior is the 2025-26 Karlson Scholar at Bethel Seminary. She has been a reader and a writer her entire life. She earned her PhD in English from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has taught at Liberty University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
