  • Episode 49 Feathered In Grace & Armor: When You Are the Hope Holder — The Weight of the Wait
    2026/08/22

We are not recording this one from the other side.

Right now we are in the middle of an uncertain season with our family compound — delays, permitting processes, unknowns and a timeline that is not cooperating with our plans. Morale is low. The wait is heavy. And the two of us are experiencing it in completely different ways.

One of us is holding on to hope and practicing restraint. One of us is setting deadlines and wrestling with the uncertainty. Both perspectives are real. Both are valid. And today we are putting both of them on the microphone.

In this episode we talk about what it feels like to be the hope holder when everyone around you is running low, what deadlines really say about our relationship with uncertainty and what the weight of a long wait actually does to a person, a marriage and a faith.

No filter. No resolution. Just two people telling the truth from exactly where they are.

You are not alone in your wait. 🪶

  • Episode 48 Feathered In Grace & Armor: It's Only Been Four Years — So Why Does It Feel Like 40?
    2026/08/05

An Honest Anniversary Episode About Real Love, Real Life & the Staycationversary

Today we are celebrating four years of marriage. FOUR years. And we want to be very honest with you — it has felt like forty. And we mean that in the most loving, complicated, beautiful, exhausting, life giving way possible. The most romantic thing you can do for your marriage is not the grand gesture. It is the daily choice. It is showing up for each other in the compound, in the new state, in the messy middle, in the season when the getaway is not possible. That is the love story. Right there in the ordinary.

Thank you for celebrating with us today. Thank you for being part of this journey. We are four years in and forty years worth of living has happened and we would not trade a single complicated beautiful exhausting grace filled moment of it.

    Chadd & Gina

  • Episode 45 Feathered In Grace & Armor: His Timing vs. Our Timeline
    2026/06/01

In this powerful follow-up to our Pray & Releasing episode, Chadd & Gina dive deep into one of the biggest struggles we all wrestle with… TIME. ⏳

How do we actually think about and use our time? Why does it always feel like there’s never enough of it? And how many times have we caught ourselves saying:

    • “Where did the time go?”
    • “I wasted so many years…”
    • “There’s not enough time…”

This conversation challenges listeners to take a deeper look at how time has shaped their marriages, relationships, faith, and spiritual walk. Gina shares a powerful moment from a recent coaching conversation with a client that caused her to stop and completely rethink how we view time and urgency in our lives.

Together, they unpack the tension between our timeline and God’s timing, reflecting on the truth found in:

    📖 2 Peter 3:8

“With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”

God does not experience time the way we do.
He is never late. He is always on time.

💭 A question they challenge every listener with:

Where in your own life have you felt the most pressure around time recently?

✨ Gina also shares how she now has 5 amazing coaching tools available to help guide people through their personal journey, relationships, faith walk, and emotional growth.

This episode is thoughtful, honest, faith-filled, and a reminder that maybe the answer isn’t getting more time… but learning to trust God more deeply with the time we’ve been given.
