Such fear demands constant conformity to shifting social standards and makes communion with human approval more vital than obedience to God. Scripture warns that this fear of man is a snare, grounding life in insecurity, while the fear of the Lord brings true safety, wisdom, and enduring satisfaction. To fear God rather than man is to live rooted in His unchanging power and gracious communion, where weakness becomes strength and the final outcome is victory.
