概要
As a mother, the empty nest years have been the hardest of my life thus far. I am speaking from a place of failure, humility, and self-deprecation, not from a place of pride. I had to launch into something productive from that place of loneliness and isolation after completing the process of raising our children and watching as they leave the nest. I had to find a purpose to keep going on, keep growing not stagnating. After a lot of research, I found some ways in which, if I follow my own research, I could not just be surviving but thriving through these years.
