Welcome back to Fairy Gaymothers Sorta for season two, episode two, where Kat and Hunter take on one of society’s most confusing and inconsistently enforced social contracts: girl code.

Through extensive research (watching clips of reality television on TikTok and god forbid, Reels), the girls attempt to determine what girl code actually is, whether lesbians play by a different set of rules, and at what point “violating girl code” becomes indistinguishable from simply making a decision someone didn’t like.

Using case studies from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and the latest Summer House drama, Kat and Hunter examine the ever-expanding list of offenses that can often be used to label someone as not “a girl’s girl”. Is there a universal code? Does one NEED a code to have compassion and consideration for women?

As always, the girls remain committed to asking important questions, reaching questionable conclusions, and providing guidance that should under no circumstances be considered legally binding. Class is back in session.

Welcome back to Fairy Gaymothers Sorta and happy Pride Month! After some time away dedicated to becoming even gayer and, somehow, even funnier, Kat and Hunter return for the very first episode of season two.

To kick off the new semester, the girls tackle one of life’s greatest unsolved mysteries: Is Justin Bieber a lesbian? Through rigorous investigation, questionable methodology, and several compelling exhibits, Kat and Hunter examine how Bieber came to earn lesbian icon status, what exactly that title means, and whether the evidence can withstand academic scrutiny.

Also making its debut this season is a brand new segment: The Gay Agenda Generator. Guided by forces beyond their control (namely God herself), Kat and Hunter surrender to fate and discover which piece of gay gospel they’ve been chosen to spread to the masses.

With a new season comes new lessons, new revelations, and the same unwavering commitment to offering completely unqualified guidance. Class is officially back in session.

In the season finale of Fairy Gaymothers Sorta, Kat and Hunter complete their exam in the last instalment of their extremely rigorous (and completely self-appointed) curriculum of semester one: Know Thy Unknown. This week, they turn their attention to the things that simply refuse to make sense, and perhaps were never meant to.

First on the agenda, Kat and Hunter report back with their recurring fieldwork segment: The Crash, Bit, Bang. In a special twist, the girls take turns crashing out over the many things in this world they just don’t understand. Some are sweeping, existential concepts, others are smaller, more niche curiosities… and a few are things they’ve decided they’re actually better off not knowing at all.

Wrapping up their first semester at Fairy Gaymother Academy, Kat and Hunter reflect on everything they’ve learned (academically, spiritually, and emotionally, give or take), revisit standout moments, and take stock of how their worldview has shifted. This week’s syllabus tackles the age-old question plaguing our generation: do we actually have hobbies, or are we just scrolling with conviction?

First on the agenda, Kat and Hunter report back with their recurring fieldwork segments: The Hinge Cringe and Crash / Bit / Bang. Hunter attempts to defend her matchmaking abilities (the evidence scarce), while Kat explains her deeply held philosophy of joy by proxy, specifically through the time-honoured practice of watching SMOSH videos like they’re prestige television. From there, we enter the main lecture: hobbies.
