In this episode of Cliffhanger Paranormal and Cryptid Encounters, I speak with Callan, a lifelong bushman and roo shooter from central Queensland, about a terrifying face-to-face encounter with a Yowie, often referred to as the Australian Bigfoot.
While shooting in remote gidgee country near Winton, Callan came eye to eye with a large hairy figure through his rifle scope. What followed was a moment frozen in time before the creature moved with incredible speed into thick scrub and disappeared.
Beyond this encounter, Callan also shares experiences involving huge big cat tracks, abnormal animal behaviour, and repeated sightings of Min Min lights, a phenomenon deeply tied to outback folklore and unexplained activity.
Years later, his father, once a skeptic, had his own shocking encounter in the same area, cementing the idea that something is going on out there.
This is a raw, honest account from someone who knows the bush and knows when something does not belong.
